Centipedes That Eat Bats And Bullfrogs!

Why I got on this topic, I don't know. I was researching robo bugs and up pops a video about this huge red centipede with yellow legs, Scolopendra gigantea, that can exceed 13 inches in length! Yuck!

Worse, in the video its consuming a bullfrog locked in its forty-six legged death grasp. A bigtime creepy crawlee giving me the creeps. The bullfrog struggles to get away. To no avail, the centipede is merciless.

As a side note, what kind of creator would let loose such monstrosities upon the earth? Ever wonder about that?

I research this bug further and discover it also devours bats. It climbs up the walls of caves, hangs upside down on the ceiling, and snags flying bats out of the air. Super creepy. It can run fast, climb walls, hang off ceilings, see in the dark, and is carnivorous. Too much. You don't ever want one of these in your house or anywhere near you.

Here's the good news. They only inhabit the Amazon jungle and the islands of Trinidad and Jamaica. So if you are living elsewhere, you get a break. Unless deranged exotic pet owners import them to your country, which they are, and lose a few in your neighborhood that mate and multiply like rabid rabbits.

Worse, if they bite you its bye bye. Ok, I'm kidding about the bye bye. But ... anticipate sharp pain, swelling, chills, fever, weakness, and, of course, the shock of a bite from such a hideous looking creature.

Pray, too, that if aliens ever visit our planet, they don't look like these monster centipedes.
