It amazes me we've seen no signs of life in the universe yet. Sure, we have many UFO sightings, but until we can verify these are bona fide, they're not adequate to prove other forms of live exist in the universe. I wish those cases were. I'd love to see proof of what I see as inevitable.

But, it's a bit discouraging to me Science has no proof. Not even SETI has scored any positives. I thought by now they'd have found something tangible. Yet, nothing.

I like the 'be careful what you ask for' in terms of trying to contact aliens. I can see the wisdom in not attracting aliens that could be hostile. And how would we know their intent? We assume trying to send signals into the cosmos could establish contact with aliens who presumably would welcome are friendship, but we don't seem concerned about the possibility aliens could be like Klingons instead of like ETs.

I guess not finding aliens yet has some advantages.
