I quote from the report, "On August 15, 2004, 16-year-old Atefeh Rajabi was hung to death from a crane in the main square of Neka, Iran in front of the town's people to keep "society safe from acts against public morality." She was charged with allegedly having sex with an older man and, in the words of the judge, she had 'a sharp tongue.' The judge put the noose around her neck. After the execution, the town governor sent the judge a letter of congratulations." I have quoted from the report, as I would like to point out the total insanity the human race is hutling into. A 16 year old being put to death for having sex with an older man!!! Who, I cannot but wonder, should be held responsible for upholding morality? Where goes the responsibility of the much more 'experienced', so-called 'learned' older man? And we are told that two highly 'learned' personae, a judge and a governor have not only been complicit in this heinous deed but have even resorted to congratulatory celebrations. I am shocked to the core. I pray for the soul of this young lady and also beseech God to guide the perpetrators to help themselves rise from the rock-bottom they appear to have sunk to.
